My competence rests on a combination of academic education, many years of professional work in social services and Swedish public authorities, and long experience with families, young people, migration, integration, language and social issues.
Over the years I have met people in very different life situations – from young people and families in need of support to newly arrived residents, people in social vulnerability, and those who need guidance in their contact with Swedish society.
Through Oxiana I bring these experiences together in family counselling, education and integration, language services and media.

16 Years of Experience Working with Young People and Families
One of the strongest foundations of Oxiana's competence.
Mujib Wais Ezat has 16 years of professional experience at Viksjö Gård, working closely with adolescents and their families.
The work has included supportive and motivational conversations, relationship-building, conflict management and crisis support, documentation, planning and follow-up, and collaboration with social services, schools, child and adolescent psychiatry and other community actors.
It has also involved supporting families through processes of change, and working with young people with different social and individual support needs, including unaccompanied minors, with a focus on safety, identity and integration.

Alongside the work with young people and families, there is broad experience of social work in residential and treatment settings, and of supporting adults in social vulnerability with varying support needs.
Current and recent experience includes work as a housing support worker within SHIS Stockholm, focusing on stability in the home, motivation and steps towards greater independence.

Experience in Swedish Public Administration
Several years of experience within Swedish state authorities and public service, including the Swedish Migration Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Government Service Centre.
This work has provided broad experience of contacts with authorities, casework, investigation, public information, service, documentation, coordination, and meeting people from many different backgrounds and life situations.
It is particularly valuable in Oxiana's work with integration, civic guidance and education.

Language-related work approx. 2012–2024
Professional experience in language analysis, including with Sprakab (Skandinavisk Språkanalys AB), covering dialect analysis, transcription and translation.
In addition, extensive experience of interpreting, translation and language review, and of multilingual communication in which texts and messages are adapted culturally and linguistically.

Migration, Integration & Intercultural Competence
A central part of Mujib Wais Ezat's experience is the meeting between people, families, cultures and societies.
The combination of academic studies in migration and international affairs, work within Swedish authorities, social work, language competence and many years of integration work provides a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges that can arise when people build a life in a new society.
This competence is used especially in Oxiana's family counselling and in its education and integration work.

Leadership & Community Engagement
Long-standing involvement in community organisations has provided experience of leadership, organisational responsibility, integration work, coordination and community contacts. After several years as head of integration and vice chair, Mujib Wais Ezat served as chair in 2021–2023.

Authorship & Social Narratives
Writing is another part of the work with people, culture and society. Through four novels, Mujib Wais Ezat has portrayed migration, war and social change, as well as the lives and circumstances of women and families.
One of the novels has been published in Persian and has also been translated into Swedish, while three further novels are written in Persian.
The Swedish translation is completed but not yet published.
